My background, being a collision of art and computer science, serves as a theme for the majority of my work. My desire to pick things apart, find patterns, and create repetition and narrative all comes out in my art. I also become inspired by the mundane – trying to recapture everyday instances which are taken for granted, rejected, or just unexplored. The inside of a garbage bin, or objects tossed on the side of the road all hold a story for me.

Although I work mostly in digital media, I still enjoy traditional formats: darkroom photography, drawing and crocheting. If I could knit, I would.
